The rules

Terms of use

Short version: read it, quote it with a link back, don't pass it off as advice, and don't be abusive in the comments.

Last revised 20 August 2026

Using the site

By using finance site you accept these terms and the disclaimer, which is part of them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.

The site is free and provided as-is. It may change, break, or go away without notice, and no uptime or continuity is promised.

The research is not advice

Everything published here is general information and personal opinion, not investment advice, and the author is not a registered adviser or research analyst. Decisions you make with it are yours. The disclaimer sets this out in full and you should read it before relying on anything here.

Quoting and reuse

Quoting charts, figures or passages for commentary, teaching or reporting is welcome — please attribute and link back to the page you took it from. Republishing whole posts, or presenting this work as your own or as a commercial product, is not permitted without asking first.

Underlying market data belongs to its original sources, listed on the methodology page, and is subject to their terms rather than these. The site’s source code is public and carries its own licence in the repository.

Comments

Comments are moderated and posted under your own name. Disagreement is welcome; the things that get removed are spam, promotion, abuse, anything unlawful, and anything posted to manipulate interest in a security. Accounts that keep doing it are removed.

You keep ownership of what you write, and grant permission to display it on the site alongside the post it responds to. You can have your comments deleted at any time — see privacy.

Automated access

Reasonable crawling that respects robots.txt is fine, and there is an RSS feed if you want to follow updates. Scraping at a rate that degrades the site for other people is not, and may be rate-limited or blocked.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the author accepts no liability for any loss or damage — including trading losses — arising from use of this site, reliance on its contents, or errors and interruptions in the data. Data comes from third parties and can be wrong, delayed or missing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
